At D1 Illinois Cheer, your cheerleader's safety is our paramount concern. This Waiver and Release of Liability outlines the inherent risks of cheerleading and our commitment to providing a secure environment for all participants. Understanding these terms ensures a safe and successful journey with us.

Understanding the commitment

Participation in our cheer practices, training, performances, competitions, travel, and related activities carries inherent risks. While we strive to maintain the highest safety standards, this document serves to ensure that parents and guardians acknowledge and understand these potential risks, agreeing that D1 Illinois Cheer does not assume liability for them. Our primary goal is always the safety and well-being of every cheerleader.

Waiver and Release of Liability

I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian if participant is under 18), acknowledge that participation in activities with D1 Illinois Cheer involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, sprains, fractures, and other injuries.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in practices, training, performances, competitions, travel, and related activities.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge D1 Illinois Cheer, its owners, coaches, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in these activities, including those caused by negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I certify that the participant is physically fit to participate and agree to follow all rules and instructions. In the event of an emergency, I authorize D1 Illinois Cheer to obtain medical treatment as deemed necessary.
